Born and raised in Colombo Sri Lanka with his undying passion for the Arts, Lahiru Mayadunna’s talents spread across a variety of platforms. His love for his art has helped him explore this field and excel as a Director, Producer, Cinematographer, Editor & Colorist, not only in the local industry, but in the international Film Industries as well.
His hard work has been recognized and awarded at Film Festivals.
In addition to his first love of Film Making, Lahiru is a talented photographer, a creative designer and a passionate Web Developer. His work ranges from travel, fashion and commercial photography to Corporate websites, logo creations and corporate magazines.

Take a lookI will be the chief over the camera and light crews working on the film, tv or video production. Also take the technical decisions related to the image.
I direct films, tv, or video productions. I control the video’s artistic and dramatic aspects and visualize the screenplay while guiding the actors.
I practice the craft of screenwriting, writing screenplays on which mass media, such as films, television programs and other video productions, are based.
Taking high-standard photographs for travel and wildlife photography.
Editing for films, documentaries, tv, music videos, educational videos, and social media.
Color grading is where the magic happens. I do color correction and color grading for films & documentaries etc.
